About

The idea

The name says it: increasingly, the founder is the brand. People follow, trust, and buy from people before they trust logos. Founder-Led Growth exists to answer the practical questions that come with that shift — how to build an audience, whether personal branding is worth the time, what actually drives demand, and how to do it without it taking over your week.

What this site is

Every article here starts with a real question founders are actually asking — pulled from Reddit, founder Slack and Discord communities, and conversations happening in public. We answer it directly in the first few sentences, then go deeper with data, real examples, and specific, usable advice. No fluff, no filler, no 2,000-word warm-ups before the point.

If you searched for the question or asked an AI assistant, our goal is simple: be the clearest, most genuinely useful answer you find.

How we research and write

We hold every article to the same standard:

  • It starts with a real question. We don’t invent topics — we answer ones founders are already asking, and we link the original discussion so you can read the source.
  • The answer comes first. You get the direct answer in the opening lines, before any explanation.
  • Claims are backed by numbers and sources. Where we cite a statistic or a benchmark, we link where it came from.
  • It has to be practical. If you can’t act on it, it doesn’t belong in the article.

Who publishes this

Founder-Led Growth is published by the team at Dopameme, a content studio that helps founders build viral personal brands and grow through founder-led content. We spend our days studying what makes founder content work — which is exactly why we write this. Every article is written by one of Dopameme’s two co-founders, Talha Abrar and Salaar Ahmed Khan.

Where it’s genuinely relevant, an article may note how Dopameme can help with the execution side. We’re upfront about that relationship on purpose: the answers here are written to stand on their own and be useful whether or not you ever work with us. If an article is only useful as an ad, we don’t publish it.
